Nils Kähler, 1960s Chamotte Bowls
Nils Kähler, 1960s Chamotte Bowls
A trio of bowls decorated with an intense blue glaze, modeled with a stamped herringbone pattern. Chamotte—also known as ‘grog’, ‘firesand’ or 'fireclay'—is calcined clay containing a high proportion of alumina and produces intense color and finish. With their deep turquoise color and herringbone design, these are classic Kähler! Will separate upon request. Signed Nils, HAK. Manufactured by Kähler.
